Hi everyone, my name is Laura and this is the first time doing anything like this. So, I figured I would start by telling y’all about who I am. I am a 44-year-old woman who has been struggling through life since I was a kid, I struggled with my weight my whole life and got bullied through school because of it. I got to a point that I didn’t care anymore what people thought of me, then at the age of 19 I was diagnosed PCOS. I was told I would probably never have children, but because of my age and the fact that I could possibly still have children the doctors would not do a hysterectomy. I went through life giving up on the fact and now going through a new struggle of ever finding someone who would want to be with a barren woman. I was in my late 30s when I finally found my soul mate and we tried to have children for 5 years, but since that did not work, we started to talk about going to a fertility clinic for help, but right before our first appointment, I was diagnosed with Endometrial and Clear Cell Cancer. I was diagnosed on July 29, 2025, and on June 10, 2026, I was finally having my full hysterectomy. I started Chemo on July 27, 2026. As I laid in bed for a week feeling the chemo pain and feeling lost, I decided I was going to start a blog to tell people about my journey in hopes that maybe someone else who is going through the cancer fight, might find this blog and help them through their journey and struggles with chemo, radiation, and/or just the fight with cancer. For anyone who truly knows me, knows I am not one to share my personal life on any type of social media, let alone start a blog, but God is truly telling me to do this and help as many people as I can. I am truly a believer in God and the strength of prayers, so God will be a huge part of this blog. I know people have their own beliefs, and I will be respectful about that as much as I can, please return the favor and respect my beliefs, Thank you.
